We are more than delighted
to invite your company to join us at the 20th
Annual Black History Month Black Expo events held throughout
the month of February 2009 in Stockton. For
the first time in California history, Rick Warren Media,
original founder and producer of the Stockton Black Expo
will implement nearly 20 years of organizational strategy
to create the only “month long Expo” in the nation.
You will find numerous opportunities to gain exposure
into the booming African American consumer market through
community outreach, advertising,
branding and immediate impact presentations to thousands
of new potential clients and customers.
As you are well aware, Black History Month
is the most important occasion in the African American
culture. Ceremonies and celebrations bring to life
the facts to show how impactive Blacks have been with their
contributions to the growth of this nation. When you attach
your company or organization to one of the most significant
times for an entire culture of people, your outreach will be
reciprocated many times over.
This year’s activities are simply amazing and designed
to attract large audiences to major venues within the Black
community. We will host the “1000 Black Women
March” event in Stockton and several other major cities
across the nation simultaneously. The
March signifies the message of Black women who are head of household
in more than 75% of Black families. It is time that
their voices help shape the agenda as it pertains to healthcare,
education, law enforcements, careers, business and other enrichment
type of opportunities. After the March women
will proceed to the Career, Health and Wealth Expo;
and the African American “Village” Marketplace
for information, entertainment and cultural exchange.
We will also introduce “Black Dollar Days,”
to Stockton as a month long effort to encourage
economic unity and reciprocation. Our Small Business-2
Business” Summit will open doors to opportunity between
corporations, government agencies and Black owned businesses.
Other programs for the month include the:
“Taste Of Stockton’s Soul...A Soul Food Festival;
the Comedy and Poetry Slam; the Black History Month Exhibition
Competition (among schools); The Art & Jazz Faire; the Black
Beauty Expo and Hair Show; and our Tour Of Black History in
Stockton (school field trips). Black History
Month is a time for reflection and it is a time for projection.
We must continue to search for equality and build relationships
between those who can provide opportunity and those who are
prepared to receive opportunity.
We are asking that you join us for this 19th Annual Celebration
and a “new” more “innovative” approach
to delivering value to our community and to your organization.
Please join us by reserving your Partnership. Contact Rick Warren
